Horse SenseAbility offers five 7-lesson terms of therapeutic riding & horsemanship during the school year as shown on our calendar. Pre-payment for each term is due 2 weeks prior to the first lesson.

Our therapeutic riding lessons incorporate essential horsemanship skills (e.g., grooming & tacking up) in addition to actual "time in the saddle."

* Through the generosity of the Sherborn Business Association, any child with special needs who lives in Sherborn is eligible for a $240 scholarship.

Horse SenseAbility does not bill insurance companies. However, we will gladly provide a receipt without a code for therapeutic riding and horsemanship lessons that you can submit for reimbursement to your insurance company if they offer that option.

To request financial support, please fill out and submit the Horse SenseAbility Scholarship Application for consideration by our Board of Directors. Children in foster care may also apply for financial assistance from the Rise Above Foundation.

Traditional recreational riding lessons are available on a limited basis, primarily for family members of current participants. For more information about schedules, rates and fees, please contact us
