Equine Manager & Riding Instructor

Ilana Casady

Occupational Therapist

Sam Bruha, Equine Manager and Instructor

Sam Bruha started riding when she was 4 and has been a "barn rat" ever since. As our Equine Manager, Sam is responsible for all aspect of our horses' care and training. Sam also is a Massachusetts and PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor who teaches over 30 students each week.

Polly Kornblith, Director

In 2018, Polly launched Horse SenseAbility in a facility specifically designed and built for therapeutic riding and horsemanship activities. Polly is a Massachusetts and PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor as well as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. She also holds a Masters Degree in Education from Harvard University.

Cassie is a Massachusetts and PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor​ and an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning.​ Cassie’s favorite part about teaching is helping her students reach their highest potential; their smiles are always the best part of her day!

Kevin is a Massachusetts and PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. Kevin’s goal is to help each rider shine to their best ability within a safe and fun environment.

Ilana Casady, Occupational Therapist

Ilana Casady, MSOTR/L, HPCS is a Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist, a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, and a licensed Massachusetts instructor. Ilana worked in early Intervention for many years and has also coached Special Olympics.

Lauren Gildea

Lauren Gildea, Instructor

Lauren Gildea has years of experience working in the health, wellness and fitness industry. She not only is a certified Massachusetts riding instructor but competes in multiple equestrian disciplines.

Audrey Kung

Lisa Terrell

City to Saddle Instructor

Audrey is a  Massachusetts and PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) as well as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL). Audrey's teaching style reflects her keen curiosity and commitment to learning. Audrey loves motivating her students with laughter and positivity.

Wendy holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in Literacy and Language from the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Wendy delights in teaching children about famous and unusually talented equines as a strategy for improving literacy skills.

Lisa Terrell, Instructor

Lisa has loved horses since the moment that she knew what they were. She has managed various barns, ridden with a variety of trainers, attended many clinics and never stopped learning. Lisa rode her 1st dressage horse Indy to 4th level and continues competing to this day.
