Group of children at farm

If you cancel, refunds and makeups are NOT provided. Once you sign up for lessons, we reserve that slot specifically for you and cannot fill it even though you are absent. If you are unable to attend a regularly scheduled lesson, please notify us as soon as possible by calling 508-744-6774, texting 508-306-8954 or sending an email to info@horsesenseability.org.

If Horse SenseAbility has to cancel a lesson, all reasonable attempts will be made to notify you in a timely manner and a refund will be issued. If the weather is inclement, Horse SenseAbility will conduct an unmounted horsemanship session instead of riding. If the Dover-Sherborn Public Schools cancel or delay due to weather, we will be closed and issue a refund.

How do I request financial assistance?

We recognize the many financial challenges faced by our participants and their families. As a small nonprofit organization, limited availability of grants and other funding make it impossible to honor all the requests for assistance that we receive. Decisions about financial support are made by the Board of Directors of Horse SenseAbility. If you would like to apply, please contact the Executive Director.

Do you offer recreational riding lessons?

Traditional recreational riding lessons are available on a limited basis only for family members of current participants. For more information, please contact the Executive Director.

Do you bill insurance companies?

Horse SenseAbility does not directly bill insurance companies. However, we will gladly provide a receipt for therapeutic riding and horsemanship lessons that you can submit for reimbursement.
